My husband is Greek, therefore my son gave me some gift certificates to be applied to cooking instruction with Maria as he had already taken a few classes with her in company of his girlfriend. I am not a great cook myself, but learning how to make stuffed vine leaves, spanakopita, tzatziki and baklava was an absolute extraordinary experience that increased my self-confidence in the kitchen. My son, a student and athlete at a prestigious High School, was failing the Spanish course in his junior year. I immediately contacted Maria Conte to arrange private lessons to help my son. Maria was very accommodating in helping my son every weekend as he had a challenging schedule. She contributed her valuable and honorable guidance with homework, research, and oral presentations. My son greatly improved not only Spanish, but also the English grammar.  I do not have enough words to describe Maria’s kindness, helpfulness, organization and professionalism.
