- Italian I. This course is an introduction to Italian language and culture, and is for students with no previous knowledge of the language. It covers easy grammar, and the opportunity to develop writing, reading, speaking and listening skills.
- Italian II. This course welcomes students who have completed Italian I. Using a conversational and fun approach, it is a continuation of learning basic grammar. We will cover adjectives, time, irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, the simple past, vocabulary, as well as the Italian culture.
- Italian III. This course is for students who completed Italian II. Using a conversational approach, it is addressed to students who wish to continue learning grammar, tenses, vocabulary and culture. In particular, we will focus on direct object pronouns, imperfect, trapassato prossimo, passato remoto e trapassato, condizionale presente e passato, futuro semplice ed anteriore, gerundio e trapassato. In addition, there will be a cultural reading assigned at each class.
- Italian IV. This course is designed for students who completed Italian III and wish to expand their knowledge in Italian. It covers subjunctive moods, advanced grammar and cultural readings.
- Italian for Travelers. If you are planning a trip to Italy, this is the right course to learn specific vocabulary and phrases related to travel. Students will have the opportunity to practice the language in a fun and supported environment.
- Conversational Italian. This course is designed for those students who wish to practice speaking and listening skills. Weekly discussions will rotate around a variety of interesting cultural topics. It is recommended for intermediate and advanced students.
- Art and Italian Conversation. Conducted in Italian. This course increases the students’ conversational Italian speaking skills while having fun drawing with colored pencils, crayons, and markers in a relaxed music filled environment. At each meeting, students will learn fun drawing methods and new art language related vocabulary in the target language. In addition, participants will have a chance to freely express their inner emotions linguistically by presenting their final product to the class. On the last class, students will be able to make a special greeting or holiday card using watercolor pencils. During each class, materials will be loaned at no additional cost.
- Italian tutoring. Private tutoring sessions are available for all levels from Monday to Saturday.
