Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day: Traditions and Festivities

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on March 17. St. Patrick’s Day is an Irish holiday, but it is celebrated in different parts of the world as well. Beautiful are the parades along the streets of cities with people wearing magnificent costumes in green color. The whole thing is brightened by harmonious music. The symbol of the holiday is the shamrock. The special color of this holiday is green. The traditional specialties of St. Patrick’s Day are corned beef brisket, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, green beer, Irish soda bread and cookies shaped like shamrocks.
