Gift Certificate Policy
Paper gift certificates purchased in person are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The amount may be applied to any course or program offered by Maria Conte. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred to another person. Lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced. To redeem a gift certificate, it must be presented at the time of enrollment. Please note that paper gift certificates cannot be used for online classes.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, all individual and group in-person classes will be canceled. Students and parents of enrolled children will be notified by Maria Conte via the email address provided at registration. A make-up class will be offered at a later date.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
All programs must be prepaid in full. If you withdraw from a course or program at least five (5) business days before the start date, the amount paid may be transferred toward a course or event offered in the next term. The transfer must be used within the next term and cannot be carried over further. Requests for a full refund will incur a $25.00 processing fee.
All requests for withdrawal, transfer, or refund must be made in writing. If the cost of the program or event is $50 or less, no refund will be issued for withdrawal. All course deposits, including those for private lessons, are non-refundable. Once a program or event has started, no refunds or transfers will be granted under any circumstances.

As of November 26, 2022, PayPal has discontinued the Refunded Returns service.
🔒 Recording Policy
For the privacy and comfort of all participants,
recording of any kind—audio, video, or screen capture—is strictly prohibited
during all online lessons, meetings, or conferences. No exceptions will be made.
